Best of Table For Twelve

It's no secret that my favorite post of the month is almost always our Table for Twelve.  For those of you who aren't totally familiar with what that is, the condensed version goes like so: a little less than a year ago I decided to incorporate event planning into what I present here on the blog.  I didn't just want to plan random parties, however, I wanted to create a series.  Twelve girls, twelve months, twelve parties with accompanying posts that were both inspirational and a resource.  I gathered a few of my closest gal pals (the vast majority of which are related to me) and they enthusiastically got on board with the idea.  Over the past nine months we've celebrated Valentine's Day, channeled our inner Audrey Hepburn, caught royal wedding fever, picnic-ed in the park, drowned our 'we'll miss you' sorrows in ice cream, lounged by the pool, sipped tea at a garden party, rocked gorgeous cocktail dresses, and enjoyed a night in Tuscany.  Not too shabby, I'd say.  Going through Table for Twelve photos always makes me feel equal parts proud and happy.  For me, they're a great reminder of what happens when you get the chance to work hard at bringing your creative ideas to life.  Not everyone gets to do that, and I'm really quite thankful for the chance.  As this series continues, I'm hoping to not only make it better, but expand it's reach.  I'm considering a few really fun possibilities and I can't wait to share them with you over the next few months!  For the time being, I'm taking smaller steps like getting a few pictures from our events up on Pinterest (the most addictive site in all the world that lets you organize and share beautiful things).  I realized the Table for Twelve format I was using wasn't conducive to pinning, so I grabbed a few of my favorites and posted them here.  If you're not on Pinterest and want an invite, shoot me an e-mail and I'd be happy to send you one...believe me, you will love it.  Hope you enjoy this little walk down memory lane...if you missed out on any of the full posts, be sure to check 'em out!
