Mad, Mad World

I’ve been looking into mid-century design lately and I’m pretty sure I can safely blame it on the AMC TV show ‘Mad Men’.  From the wood paneling and retro prints to the classic color palates, the set designers do a fantastic job capturing the look of the early sixties.  I like the mid-century modern look, but I prefer it in moderation.  I love the Draper home, but I’d rather gather simple inspiration from it than work towards a literal reproduction.  My favorite elements are the fun prints and clean lines- check out these pictures from the set and see if you can’t find something that inspires you!
