Live & in Living Color

Back in the day, my parents had a gorgeous picture of Lord Fredrick Leighton's Flaming June hanging over the sofa in their library.  Lovely June has since relocated, but before her move I always got a kick out of replicating her posture and curling up underneath her for a mid-Sunday afternoon snooze.  I was a weird kid, I know, but there was something intriguing and fun about stepping into June's world...even if it was just to take a nap.  I spent some time searching for other paintings come alive and found a few particularly beautiful ones.  There's nothing quite like a creative take on a classic, don't you think?
