Welcome to the NEW Design-Muse! After spending the past few weeks transferring, editing, brainstorming and creating it feels all kinds of good to be up and running. Please have a look around and make yourself at home!
While you’re browsing, I hope you’ll check out a few of the key changes we made. One of my favorite additions is our Editorial Calendar, where you can familiarize yourself with our weekly, monthly and seasonal posts. These columns will appear alongside our daily posts (in addition to, not in lieu of), which means we’re doubling the amount content you’ll find here. Increasing the frequency of our posts is a big and exciting step we’ve been working towards for awhile and an area we hope to continually grow in. We’re stoked about the change to say the least.
We also hope you’ll take the time to check out the other blogs listed in our Blogroll. These folks represent the crème de la crème of the design-blogging community and are a constant source of inspiration for us here at Design-Muse. Each one has a unique voice and take on design, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t share these phenomenal resources with you.
Social Media enthusiasts rejoice- we’ve simplified the process so all it takes is one click to share posts through e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz and more. This is an update we hope you’ll take full advantage of…if you like what you see help us spread the word!
In an effort to help you access old Design-Muse posts as easily as possible, we re-organized our Archives by date as well as topic. Select one of our pre-sorted categories or search for the key word of your choice in our Google powered Search box. While there will be noticeable changes in the layout (and in some cases, subject matter) of our new posts, I wasn’t quite ready to let go of the body of work Design-Muse accumulated. Even as we continue to move forward, I’m thankful I was able to preserve what we’ve worked so hard on over the last year- even if it’s not a perfect reflection of where we’re going.
I would say there’s a new sheriff in town, but it is in fact the same old sheriff (me). HOWEVER, I think in the weeks to come you’re going to find something really fresh and wonderful here on Design-Muse. Our hope is that you love our most recent updates as well as the changes to come as much as we do. We’re excited to hear what you think about the NEW Design-Muse, so feel free to comment below or shoot us an e-mail. Thanks for sticking with us through this wacky transition- you guys are the greatest!
